WeGo Group warrants that all products supplied are engineered to withstand diverse climatic conditions common across the region.
Our Product Warranty covers manufacturing defects and performance-related issues in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions for Proper Use. Coverage includes protection against:
- Coating deterioration
- Corrosion
- Excessive fading
- Perforation
- Material defects
This warranty applies under normal usage, installation, and weathering conditions, subject to compliance with recommended handling, installation, and maintenance guidelines.

Colored Steel / Metal Sheets – Warranty Terms
WeGo Group (K) Limited
Warranty Overview
WeGo Group (K) Limited provides a limited warranty on colored steel / metal roofing and cladding sheets supplied by us, covering manufacturing-related performance failure caused solely by natural weather exposure, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
This Warranty applies only to products:
- Installed within thirty (30) days from the date of supply, and
- Validated online within thirty (30) days after installation.
Failure to meet these conditions may render the Warranty void.
What the Warranty Covers
This Warranty is limited to the following performance characteristics when exposed to normal atmospheric conditions:
(a) Perforation
Coverage is provided against corrosion resulting in perforation through the metal substrate.
Surface rust, minor corrosion, corrosion at cut edges, bends, overlaps, or tension points does not constitute product failure under this Warranty.
(b) Color Fading
Color change shall be determined in accordance with ASTM D2244.
- Maximum permissible color variation: ΔE < 7 units
- Measurement system: Hunter Color System
(c) Paint Peeling / Delamination
Paint adhesion performance shall comply with ASTM D3359.
- Minimum acceptable adhesion rating: 4B
- Paint failure caused by scratching, abrasion, mishandling, or improper installation is excluded.
(d) Paint Chalking
Chalking resistance shall be evaluated in accordance with ASTM D4214.
- Minimum acceptable chalking resistance: Grade 6
(e) Paint Crazing
Crazing shall be assessed in accordance with ASTM D661.
- Minimum acceptable rating: 8
- No excessive cracking or surface failure shall be present.
Handling and Storage Conditions
To maintain Warranty validity, colored metal sheets must:
- Be stored in dry, well-ventilated conditions
- Be protected from moisture at all times, particularly when stacked
- Not be exposed to standing water, condensation, or damp surfaces
Damage resulting from poor handling or storage practices is not covered.
Installation Requirements
Correct installation is critical to long-term performance:
- Sheets must be fixed using appropriate fasteners fitted with high-quality rubber sealing washers
- WeGo Group may supply suitable sealing washers at an additional cost
- Alternative sealing materials may be used provided they are equal or superior in quality
⚠️ Rust formation or leakage at fixing points caused by improper installation will invalidate this Warranty.
Warranty Remedies
Where a valid Warranty claim is confirmed, WeGo Group (K) Limited shall, at its sole discretion, undertake one or more of the following remedies:
- Repair the affected product or area
- Replace the affected product or component
- Refinish or recoat the affected surface
- Apply any other reasonable corrective action
Product Discontinuation
If the warranted product is no longer available, WeGo Group reserves the right to supply a technically comparable or equivalent alternative product.
Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover damage or failure arising from:
- Faulty or non-compliant installation
- Damage during transport, handling, storage, or erection
- Chemical exposure, industrial pollution, fumes, or corrosive agents
- Marine or severe marine environments
- Accumulation of debris, swarf, or restricted drainage (including condensation)
- Contact with incompatible materials such as treated timber, wet cement, lead, copper, graphite, carbon, or stainless steel
- Failure to replace corroded fasteners
- Corrosion within sheet overlaps or end laps
- Roof slopes below 30°
- Installations below 1,000 meters above sea level
- Accidental or intentional damage by persons or animals
- Events of Force Majeure
Limitation of Liability
WeGo Group (K) Limited shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to labour costs, transport costs, loss of business, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.
Severability
If any provision of these Warranty Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Customers are required to validate their Warranty online using the invoice number and installation details within 30 days of installation.
